Positivity and global, creative
thinking are attributes that I bring to my coaching. I ask questions that follow a client’s
interest or challenge. This encourages wider thinking about the realities of a
situation and the options to consider. My positive energy helps with reframing
to encourage a client who is feeling a tug or blank spot.
Personal
attitudes that help me be authentic in my coaching role are a strong belief
that everyone has very useful and unique life experience. This attitude helps
me draw out skills and learning a client may have forgotten or not yet matched
to a current challenge. Also I believe in abundance – every person has the
capacity to be anything. This attitude coupled with the belief that my world is
my own and not someone else’s, helps me to remain impartial and non-judgmental,
which is valuable as a coach because it means I can really listen to my clients
without my own perceptions and experiences getting in the way.
